Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, one may choose an Aitemag product of proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.

Aitemag 35ZA2 is a natural magnesium hydroxide that is treated with organic carboxylate to provide easy flow and dispersion. This product is designed for use in thermoplastic polymers including polyolefins and PVC, cross-linked polyolefins and elastomeric polymers. Aitemag 35ZA2 provides enhanced compounding rheology or processability, excellent tensile elongation at break and lower moisture absorption, suitable for the LSZH or PVC wire and cable materials.
